Still the evolution of the coldest gadget ever made breh.

This mini disk shyt was the next level.
Reincarnation of the metal Walkman at highland on display.

Now electronics are kind of a joke.

3D television is a good one

It went QUICK without even being replaced - it just died on its own

It was going to die the same death.
.going to 7-11 for the 3d glasses for the viewing of King Kong met.
Back in the day....

Why they tried to bring this back.
When it flopped over and over again when I was a shawty. Plus the 3d version of rhe movie was always Supa trash. That to this day. I have no idea.
why they continue to try this failed work over and over.
Just let it die. For like the umpteenth time.

Let it die.....

Ipod, smartphone ended Ipod's chapter with the quickness.
The only answer.

I remember Ipod was IT for a few years. Pulled a lot of people into the Apple ecosystem. When the iPhones/smartphones starting dropping, the need for an MP3 player went away with the quickness.

DVD and even BluRay...not quite obsolete because folks will still buy their all-time favorite movies....but....if you have enough streaming apps, it covers a lot of ground. Noticing that more and more movies are getting taken off apps though. End up having to buy or rent through Amazon Prime if you don't want a hard copy.

Yup physical media will never die since people are realizing things aren't stored forever on streaming apps

Any piece of tech that last for a decade plus can't be considered a failure breh.
If you start a business and your entire industry is past tense within a decade i would say yes it was a failure.
People still buy tech that was invented before

Alot of those businesses didn't fail. A product existing for a decade plus before evolving into a superior product, isn't something that "came and went".

It didn't evolve it became obsolete and was replaced. Normal cell phones evolved into smartphones. Beepers just went to oblvion.

The companies making the beepers were the ones making the cell phones. It was a natural progression of technology and beepers were popular for decades. It wasn't just some short lived fad.
