I played RB and DB starting out, chose safety because I wanted to get on the field. with the rbs we had, I wasn't getting on the field until senior year no matter how good I was. I did show my ass in the spring game my redshirt year though.

I dont disagree with that quote, thats kyles thought of what went wrong. I have no clue why he thinks oline and right tackle specifically werent an issue, but beating sticky man coverage was a problem in the SB.

the issue is, Pearsall isnt that amazing for beating man coverage either, especially if he isnt given free release. But I think this year we definitely see less Deebo and Kittle running routes in man coverage

This book is why Purdy is so goddamn good. When you can have a Mike Vick never once read the playbook and have a Gronk who just ran whatever the fukk he wanted.... When you have a guy who studies this motherfukker 8 hours a day, even when he's got it down... THAT is the cerebral part of the game that Brock has down, that separates him from the more physical Qbs who just can't seem to understand Kyle's system. Cause I imagine our book probably triple the size of the 2008 Texans
