Not necessarily we lost the Super Bowl because we had 2 RBs who avg 5 yards an carry and we kept spamming McCaffrey. If each RB got 5 more carries we take down their winded defensive line and hoist a Lombardi. If we schemed George Kittle the way they schemed Kelce we win. Kansas City had very good to elite defensive backs crew on top of being well coached.

I agree with this except we couldn't scheme Kittle open because KC started beating the ass the the right side of the line.

I am going to reserve judgement until the rest of the draft goes because I started watching some of Pearsells tape. He would be a system fit. He can make contested catches can be used on bubble screens, decent blocker and he is football fast. He is also similarly built like Aiyuk being over 6ft with 9.25 inch hands.

Edit: there are reports that we tried to trade back but there were no takers.

I believe this, and I also think this is why we took Pearsall when we did but I do think our only real option was to trade up but the cost might not have been worth it.

Kyle’s dad always maximized his back field if he had two great running back he used them both a split reps. There was no reason not to use Mitchell and Mason last season no reason at all. Especially Mason who was a power back. We got the wrong shananhan. Also, Kyle choose all his man beater routes with Deebo instead of Aiyuk and the right side of the o-line had a dude playing outside the scheme because reasons.

This is what most coaches do when they have multiple backs that are stars.

He is the only coach that doesn't play rookies unless injury and the only coach that doesn't utilize all his players.
