Yeah it's exactly this, plus for whatever reason they really like to sign guys as if they got the whole team.... like I guess so they wouldn't feel forced to draft for positional need... I'm not sure I like the approach, as it sneakily does cost guaranteed money. 925k might not seem a lot, but it adds up with these type of signings.I think the Taylor signing is just Kyle realizing Ronnie Bell can't be fielding punts and with no Ray Ray, we need a punt returner
Id rather just try to get a punt/kick returner in the draft. These new kickoff rules are return friendly.

I think long term we might have to. Dude is not taking a hometown discount. But the team wants to get a 1st and a late pick or maybe a 2nd and 3rd for him.
