The 450 and Shooting Star are extremely dangerous because the person doing the move cannot control where they're going to exactly land, hence the botch in the video above. Kidman used to injure mad people too.

Funny thing is, I don't remember seeing that many cruiserweight injuries in WCW, where moves like those were pretty much standard :heh:

Then again, I didn't watch WCW that much so maybe I missed a few :manny:.......

Kidman kneed Chavo in the head when he did the SSP. Apparently, Bourne had to show officials that he could do it right before they gave him the go-ahead.

Kidman used to fukk it up a lot, smashing people in the head and chest with his knees, not getting a good rotation, etc. He actually stopped using it in WCW, but that was his choice because he admitted he was nervous about doing it. Then he brought it back when he went to WWE. Chavo is the only one I can recall that was actually injured by him though.

Im pretty sure age has a lot to do with it. Its one thing to have the skill to pull it off, but you also need to have the athleticism and dexterity as well. Kidman and Juvi doing the moves in the early 20s, was a far cry from trying them while in their 30s.
