Most Black Colombians are not that highly mixed either. Outside of a few places in the Caribbean areas, Black Colombians weren't around that many non Blacks in the colonial period.

And they had a lot of Palenques(maroon settlements) too.

A good portion of Black Colombians come from the Pacific and Choco region, which have never had a non Black population off more than 15%
