What Made You Quit A Show?

I won't repost what what already mentioned (Dexter, Heroes, House of Cards, etc... I'm done with Walking Dead now also.)

But I'll add some that were not mentioned.

American Dad in its earlier seasons was story driven and had strong characters.
Haley was a strongly motivated activist and a rebel not merely an pothead.
Steve was a scrawny kid but was motivated in trying to get p*ssy... not some scary little sissy who acts homo with his friends every episode.

Now everyone is merely a joke character. They break into song and do flashgag cutaways like Family Guy. Can't watch it.

...cancelled True Blood when they unofficially murked Tara off the screen

And, Flabbrow's bout to be the next show retired early into Larry Holmes Garden

First couple seasons it was fresh
Then it just got to the point like get the hell outa here with this nonense
Got a body count lookin like Charles Bronsons and going to work
Still being great at his job
Having relationships
Taking care of other peoples kids
Having your own kid
Finding time to battle rival serial killers
Teaching up and coming serial killers the art
Sister being this great detective but COMPLETELY oblivious to her looney ass brother being a killer

And he killed Doakes
I miss Doakes

Entourage.... show should have ended at the end of season 6 once Vince and the crew got on the plane with "In My Lifetime remix" by Jay-Z played in the background while Matt Damon calling Vince a motherfukker. Them last two seasons were just unbearable I couldn't finish and never will

The Walking Dead - Deplorable dramatization of the Tyreese character & the "once another black character shows up, one has to die" mandate the writers seemed to gleefully abuse on the show.

Hell On Wheels - Nothing bad in particular, but around the end of season three after Common's character finishes fighting off a bear, the show just went into "indifference mode".


The Simpsons - Stopped being interesting, which is more problematic then it not being very clever/humorous, but perhaps its gotten better now?


Law & Order: SVU - Increasingly preposterous plotlines, the lack of Stabler really hurts & the lack of Finn/Munch adventures flatlines any interest for me.


Entourage - Became a chore to sit through after a few seasons.

nah killing off old girl in season 2 for no reason was it.

Oz after adabisi was killed

Entourage round the time of the mid season split

True blood when the wearwolf/fairy shyt started

Weeds after they left and silas and them just were dropped from the show. Straight trash.

Sons of anarchy i left round the time opie was killed. Prolly left a lil early but i hear i didnt miss much

The office after michael left was traaaash even tho i like dwight a lot as a character

I shoulda stopped boardwalk empire after season 3 but i didnt i followed thru

Same goes with the wire season 5 was so trash after the perfect season 4

I dont watch many shows religiously so these are all i remember jumping ship on

Homeland after Brody went on the run. I can't explain why, I just lost all interest.

American horror story. shyt was always ridiculous but I was like fukk it in the middle of the carnival season

Law and order SVU. Mainly because it just kept going and going. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Just quit on the The Walking Dead, it dragged on for too long and when it finally gets interesting it finishes very quickly

I'm probably going to drop Quantico after the 1st season ends. It's pretty much become a FBI version of Pretty Little Liars.

The only reason I even started watching is because of Priyanka Chopra fine ass, which is funny since that's the same reason I started watching Pretty Little Liars, because of the female cast.

Plus the ratings aren't that great and it's hard to top the ridiculous 1st season it's having and it's not even over yet. It probably won't make it past season 2.

I just dropped. It's corny and the acting is horrible. The mid-season break killed this show.

Blindspot. Watched the first 3 episodes, so they gonna look for clues on her body and solve crimes ()
At least I found Strike back which was a show the main male actor was on.

I haven't really watched any TV this season, but whatever.

TWD - shyt just became too bleak for me. I tapped out after the Governor storyline.

The League - once FX moved it to FXX, I realized it wasn't that important. I was a little on them adding Jenny to the fantasy league.

Community - same as previous. Moved to new venue, and it wasn't that important. Season 5 was pretty average, and I got fukking tired of Jeff's character.

A gang of procedural network dramas - Do I need to explain my reasoning? Criminal Minds, Castle, SVU, CSI, The Good Wife, etc....

Psych - I got tired of Shawn's immature character. Plus I was sick of Gus always taking Ls.

Weeds - y'all said everything that needed to be said.

Workaholics - I can tolerate the idiot bro antics for so long, especially if the jokes are all the same.

I think I'm about to throw Modern Family in the bushes. They haven't made me care about those characters for couple of seasons.

Almost gave up on Parks and Rec when I heard about the time jump, but I gave it a shot midway through the season.

Edit: forgot about Family Guy. I think I quit after Stewie and Brian went on another ridiculous ass trip. Plus the jokes were really predictable and boring.
