What Made You Quit A Show?

Non advancement. I can't watch a show where there is no endgame. TWD is a perfect example of that. Weeds also. Shameless about to join that list

Exactly. I came in here to say this. I stopped Walking Dead after the fall finale and quit Shameless after about 6 episodes this season. I learned my lesson from sticking it out with Dexter and, to a smaller extent, Weeds.

There are just too many good shows to be sticking it out with ones you don't really enjoy or see going anywhere


I'm nearing that point with Suits, I've only got 3 more in the dvr so I may just finish those

And I'll probably get some hate but I also stopped watching the Americans at some point last season. It's different than the other ones o wrote. I just fell behind with a bunch of eps on my dvr and didn't really feel compelled to watch them so I just said fukk it. I know it's a good show but I just wasn't that into it

I didn't even watch that season, but I did catch the final scene. That's a type of scene you just cannot have a break in... and the way they did it doesn't sit right for me. Those screen effects too.....really?

What bothered me the most that most people don't realize: that was the 8th episode in two seasons that ended on a cliffhanger. EIGHTH! They're not even doing it for the story anymore they just want a reason to keep people talking but people are talking about it for the wrong reason. They blew their chance at an iconic scene from the comic book.

I usually quit a show when the writing drops to ridiculously low levels and the showrunners begin doing stuff that I find insulting to my intelligence as a viewer.

I didn't get tired of the League like everybody else, i finished it all the way until the end, but when I saw int he credits that Kate Aselton was getting first billing, I was like "Go Ahead and cancel that bish" No reason why she should get top dollar for being the cool girl at the nerd table.

Dexter - stopped watching halfway trough season 5. Never seen a show fall off so badly from one season to next. S4 was a classic then its like everyone just checked the fukk out from actors to show runners

The Office - Stopped watching after Steve Carell left. Why they would keep that show going after I'll never understand

Entourage - Still haven't watched the last season. Turned into feminist bullshyt soap opera

After last season, the show had run it's course. I didn't really see where the show could go, they killed off Juliette, after finally making her interesting (made her evil). And it wasn't a perfect ending, but it was a satisfying one. But this season, they brought her back apparently under a new alias? Yeah I don't need to see all that.

And fukk Adalind too.

I'm sorry. Daredevil Season 2 let me down. The storyline was so jumbled. Elektra and The Punisher was too much to put in one season. Season 1 had one cohesive storyline and action that had me gripped to the edge of my seat. Each episode was amazing until he was recovering from his fight with Nobu.

Season 2 left me mostly bored. You can tell there was a different show runner in season 2 than in season 1.

Season 2 was a letdown...plain and simple. Not saying it was terrible. I give it a C+ but I gave season 1 an A and the drop off is tremendous.
