I was pretty nice playing Outside line backer. Was huge, had good speed and footwork, was having fun.

We didn't have a huge program, and they promoted me to varsity almost immediately. I was LOVING it, working out, playing, chicks loved the athletes at our school.

Long story short, the team captain was older and also played LB/Safety and he was incredible, one day sophomore year we were lining up against each other running drills in practice, and he hit me with a swim move/elbow drop that took all my will to ever put on a football uniform again.

I layed on the field gasping for life for a good 2 minutes, before I let anyone help me up and walk to the sideline, I called my mother to get me and never suited up again. The rest of the team teased/harassed me about quitting for an entire year. I started hanging out in the computer lab after school instead, and ended up earning a full ride to college that way.
That's dope breh :salute:

Freshman and sophomore years I dominated baseball. Was hitting well, stealing bases, and I was electric out in the outfield. Junior year, I don’t know what happened, but my hitting became atrocious. I guess pitchers figured out how to pitch to me, and I wasn’t able to adjust at all.

Still played all of high school, but I knew I wasn’t going anywhere with the sport. Thank God I was good in mathematics and science.

Kept getting injured because I refused to lift weights thinking it was going to slow down my times.

:martin: come to find out every Olympic track sprinter lifts weights cause you need the strength to push off the ground to maintain that type of speed and endurance while preventing injuries.

:manny:a nikka was getting looked at by baylor too.

:yeshrug: sadly if I knew back then what I know now about what goes down in the Olympic village... I would have been training year around lifting weights and sprinting.

Broncos/NYY/NYR/ALA
Wanted to be WWE Cruserweight champ but got scoliosis (same shyt Paige had to retire from)

Wanted to be a shortstop for New York Yankees. This was actually somewhat realistic as for whatever reason, baseball seems to be in my family’s DNA and most either played that or Basketball, but NYY was a VERY tall order

The honest truth is I just didn't invest nearly enough time into sports, now I'm not saying I would have been a pro but the work both mentally and physically was not put in
