I sporadically posted on SOHH....here and there....not much. I was in college.....a college kid with a lot less life experience and even less experience with how my race is perceived and used against in a world where my forefathers have been enslaved, killed, colonized and generally regarded as less than equally human.

So, yea....people who tend to live life and get older, tend to get a lot more perspective on what is and what is not important in life. Especially, when your people are continually used for target practice by cops, judges, lawyers, teachers/schools and law makers.

A black kid can get away with talking about dumb sh#t all day. A grown black person needs the sh#t slapped out of him if he's still on that page.

And why do we have people always trying to divert the energy of black progressive conversation and thought? And why do we allow it?

Agents and trolls are real. Blacks need to start understanding that this kind of "why so serious" talk is not by accident.

You need to not reach and assume things. You have no knowledge of my experiences in the real world so you shouldn't take that mental leap after me simply replying to someone asking why this forum has become more "militant".

The majority of my development as a young black man have come through real life experiences, conversations and trials. The Coli and the internet in general has and will continue to be a great learning tool though, and it'd be dishonest to dismiss it's impact.
