Actually the internet is one of the primary tools that allow people from all over the world to come together and learn from one another and build. In this case , it is arguably the main outlet for blacks to express themselves unfiltered in a world that tends to censor us unless we are being entertaining.

I think if you were really about enlightenment like you claim, you wouldn't be so quick to dismiss the impact forums like this can have. Don't get it confused. In between all the silliness and funny smileys is a lot of good, thoughtful stuff.

I never said The Coli awakened my conscience btw. I said I wasn't aware when I first joined SOHH, but nearly a decade later, I am more so than before.

That doesnt mean that our racial awareness rising should be lessened because of it.
