Nobody was touching Giddey this season.
They should have moved him in the offseason before his transgressions.

I'll also add to my Presti criticisms that he was inactive before KD left as well. For years, they had a bunch of brick layers around KD and Presti never addressed it.

Honestly Chet being too young/raw to contribute is a shyt excuse.

They don't even run PnR with him. And when they do, he just floats to the 3 point line. Even guys like Mobley and Gobert gets more involved than this. It's just poor coaching adjustments.

DAL gets easier shots bc they are constantly making their bigs lob threats, which then opens up corner 3s. Whereas OKC is still trying to go 1v1s with loaded defenses.

I don't disagree I'm just saying staying put was the lower risk because this team hasn't been proven. Chet is their 5 that's what they've decided. They're undersized but they're also depending on 1st and 2nd year players to win a title. In that situation they could've made upgrades but it still would come down to Chet and JDub to be great at a really early part of their career.
They could have made some Godfather offers if they wanted. Mikal Bridges and/or Markkanen would be seamless fits and OKC has the draft capital to make it happen.

If Presti makes some big moves this summer, I'll ease up but I'm pretty dubious on him doing that after what he did this season, especially helping Dallas so much.

I'll push back a bit and say if Presti could have gotten Bridges or Lauri for picks, Giddey, Dort, etc. it would have happened :pachaha:
