Lol he was tired which is why he said he staying around 160 year round from now one he was trying to get him out there
He even told derrick jamea in the corner he was hot as hell ans he poured water on him
He was nowhere near tired. He was doing 18 rounds for training camp. He didnt want give Mikey brain damage after that Stevenson situation.

So what training and fighting are two different things lmao, if that was case nobody would get tired in fights lmao

he got tired trying to knock mikey out, he defended himself well enough to survive get over it lmao you coudl see the steam of his punches in the last rounds wasn't there

I think Spence wins 8-4 easy.. Floyd fought people with styles that were easy for him.

I don't like doing hypothetical match ups but keep in mind Floyd's prime was at lightweight and Spence is a BIG welter that throws 1k punches a fight.

Spence is 29, I still think 35 year floyd can get him, the floyd that beat canelo and Shane beats Spence

I hearing now Spence didn't just mark Floyd up he actually dropped when they sparred, but Floyd sparred 5 guys that day

it will be a tough fight, but Floyd will find a way like always, spence fading against Garcia who had zero offensive trying to KO somebody will gass you out, plus Floyd's counter ability will slow spence's punching output like he it does for every fighter

Nobody at 147 can see Spence nobody at 154 either, I want to see him fight Canelo

Spence is a matchup nightmare for Floyd. Emanuel Stewart always said.it would take a big welterweight to beat Floyd. Spence is strong, relentless, takes chances, has good defense, offensive skills and good handspeed. Floyd fighting him at 147 would be in for the fight of his life. With that said, Pre 2010 Floyd beats him by a razor thin margin. I don't think Floyd dominates him at all.

Floyd 115-113, Spence can box and play the points game too, hes not just some dumb head hunter. I don't get how people think Floyd just washes Spence. Floyd would have to fight at 147, but come in around the same weight he fought Cotto at...156-158??. Not sure what he weighed when he came into the ring that night but that size is what he would need to beat Spence. The 147 Floyd that comes in 147-149 might not be enough to absorb that punishment

Maybe it's just me but I didn't see this amazing defense from Spence in that fight. He was getting caught when Mikey could close the distance. The biggest thing seemed to be the physical advantages mad it VERY hard for Mikey to get any offense off. The jab with the reach and height advantage basically made it impossible for Mikey to work.

I don't think Spence defense would look as good against Crawford, who has a longer reach and is only an inch shorter

I think Floyd would outbox him relatively easily in his WW prime. Same reach, similar height, faster hands, and better ring IQ. Spence only advantage would be build/weight which we already know has limited effect against floyd if he can outbox you

That didn't happen. They sparred four days in a row. Spence got the best of Floyd on day 3 (black eye). Floyd turned day 4 into a doghouse session with 10 minute rounds with 30 second breaks. Errol started to wilt at the end of the third round. They stopped it after five completed rounds.
