I remember the first time I heard Triumph. I couldn't believe how good it was :damn::wow:

Yea that was insane. The beat coming on and ODB talking to Deck’s opening verse to Meth’s verse
And the beat switching had me like :lupe::whoa::mindblown::umad::banderas::steviej::leon::heh::skip::whoo::dead:

*tried to get up*
*U-God verse starts and beat switches again*
:deadrose:

Jigga always been a flossy/hustler type of cat
Remember his album was glossy compared to his direct rival DMX

Where I'm From and Dynasty intro probably the only songs which are more gutter

Threat was pretty gritty. Jay liked how Premier made an R. Kelly sample sound tough on Unbelievable so he asked 9th Wonder to basically make a darker version of that with a different R. Kelly sample.

Threat has a little more bounce than Where I’m From or D’Evils but it’s all gun talk.
