To answer the thread, I’m going with Jim Kelly in Enter the Dragon. That should have been him fighting side by side with Bruce Lee in the end.

Dishonorable mention: Cyclops in X-men 3. Logan is a great character but the Dark Phoenix Saga was never his story. Scott and Jean should have been the focus of X3.
