Now Ramen is such an "in dish", it's ironic considering the memories of Top Ramen in childhood

I was partial to Chilli flavored, so much so that I took it to school for lunch in elementary and ate it raw, with just the flavoring. Chicken was the blandest, beef, shrimp and oriental were solid.

Yes, I ate it with chips and sauages and whatever when I did a little county time 15 years ago, and now I can enjoy it as a yuppie delicacy, the way it should be.

Chicken
Beef
Pork
Oriental
Shrimp

In that order.

And when I have leftover baked chicken and have chicken ramen...with some stir fry or mixed veggies and an egg....shyt be good. Also throw in some old bay, lemon pepper or Cajun seasoning....shyt used to bang.

Chicken. It's the best base to doctor up. I used to like to throw a little sesame oil in it. I don't really eat these anymore though. :francis:

The Oriental flavor was good too. I wonder if they'll ever change the name of this flavor :russ:

Also, if we're talking strictly about the sodium block of plastic noodles in the pack and not the various amount of delicious bowl flavors, maruchan was always the winner:usure:.
Do they really need to change the name? I it was more akin to Oriental like Oriental Rug. Which is not considered offensive in that context. Only when referring to an Asian person because it dehumanizes them or some such. but a product of the orient can be referred to as oriental. I'm not sure if they are offended by that but maybe i'm wrong.
