Well I'd be damn I thought I was the only person that thought Mayo was nasty as fk.

Went to A burger joint told the fools no damn mayo went to take a bite not paying attention and at the point I knew I fked up. I wanted to throw my damn sandwich at the cashier but I was already gone. The taste just lingers on your tongue for hours. Used to like crab cakes until I found out they used mayo as a sticky base. Now crab cakes come drenched in Mayo all of a sudden.

I was chilling at my desk and a co worker had some fries and start pulling out mayo packets I'm like what are you getting ready to do. Then squeezed about 5 damn packs on his fries and was tearing that sht up

Dont get all bent outta shape over it. The popular cheesesteak joints dont have mayo options and its the only place i see "cheeze whiz" advertized. Your city not mine. Never seen "with whiz" on any steak sandwhich EXCEPT philly.

Anyway, go anywhere and order a "philly cheesesteak" and mayo is not on that.

Just like ny has popular pizza spots philly got steak spots, if u wan call em tourists spots cool guess they must not be that good then but ive never seen mayo an option on a cheeseteak cept a cali one and u gotta ask for it. They dont naturally come with mayo anywhere.

There is a whole industry around selling them cheesesteaks. The fact pats and genos became millionaires off selling that trash to ppl who don't know any better is proof of that. I'll reiterate ...no one from Philly puts cheese whiz on they steak and Mayo is the base on the bread. I get mine with provolone but I can see some basic nikkas ordering American cheese
Salt pepper ketchup mayo and fried onions. That's basically the initial base for probably 90% of the non tourist cheesesteaks sold in Philly.
