Only good things that came from that was the opening sequence, the actor who they got to play sabertooth was pretty good,
Ryan Reynolds is lucky he is white, no black actor would go from Blade 3, to x-men origins, and still get more opportunities in hollywood. He should be doing straight to video movies with steven seagal right now.

Jean Grey and Cyclops are the emotional core of the Dark Phoenix Saga. You have to build those two up as characters before getting into that storyline… you can’t just abruptly rush straight into the Dark Phoenix after making the last several movies all about Mystique.

That was a short-sighted Hollywood move.

Xmen was my fav Comic but they ruined it with the movies..
Was never into the avengers but they gave the Capt America franchise effort
Making wolverine the centre of the story was good but at least be clear on his abilities from day one.
X1 he had great sense of smell n hearing which disappears on all the others...
and replacing the 1st mystique was a bad move...
Jennifer Lawrence was a bad fit from the jump.
McAvoy was was too annoying n talkative for proffessor x's role
X3 gave us good Beast at least...
DOFP was ....dope Flash.

Instead of characters we actually care about

Killed off a lot of the students in the first installment

The 2 sequels sucked too
