It's not debatable anymore. This current era is easily the worst. They're not even trying to be entertaining.
I just walked into the living room and saw it was on. They were actually devoting time to an ESPN article about Hawkins losing 200 matches in a row and then setting up an obstacle course. They were dedicating time to advertise nipple h being on undercover boss. Finn is seemingly still working under a gimmick that “he’s nice to all communities and people”, which is essentially rocky maivia. I watched maybe 5 minutes, and it may have been the first 5 minutes I’ve watched in 4-5 months. It was worse than almost anything I’d seen in a decade except the guest host segments from 2008-11 era and the Hornswoggle segments.

Edit: I think they ran some special Olympics ad for some reason too :dahell:

I don’t even have to flip to Raw to know it’s shytty, yet I flip to it for a couple seconds and am proven right. I never thought I could be more disinterested in wrestling after sitting through Smackdown 2004 after Raw swiped them during the draft, and during the major PG shift from 08-11. What a disgrace this company is.
We really need a billionaire who’s actually a pro wrestling fan to bankroll a new promotion so these guys will try. They go through the motions worse than Randy Moss or Randy Orton ever have even on their worst days. I think Rasheed Wallace cared more and tried harder his last year in Detroit or his year in Boston.

I don't know what happened, I stopped really following the product and turn it on every now and then, and these days it seems like its worse than its ever been. I don't know if its the actual quality or the fact that they've been putting together the same style of promos, segments, and shows for years and years now that a longtime fan has to be tired of it.

Smackdown seems a lot better but it looks dry as fukk and not something I'd spend hours in front of

The writing is so devastatingly bad that you actually feel secondhand embarrassment because of it. Think about the age range of a lot of this roster. Everyone who’s from 25-40 grew up seeing outstanding characters, intriguing storylines, and fully invested crowds, only to eventually take part in the sport they love which has been reduced to terrible writing, bland characters, and equally bland and disinterested crowds. That has to be humbling for a lot of people, especially when the WWE doesn’t have any reason to make things better due to the amount of revenue they generate (or claim to generate).

Lucha Underground’s new season starts soon, and Dominion matches should be on dailymotion for anyone that missed:salute:
