What is the so called Black leadership such as the NAACP doing to combat these companies rolling back DEI expect whining and complaining?

Sure did. Literally, just follow them. I find that wp are better at safe-guarding their freedoms because they have more practice (Magna Carta under British law, they understand this system better bc it's theirs). I watched them do it.

How are we going to "follow them" when conservatives always win elections because people like you are discouraging black people from voting?

I'm not blaming individuals I'm just highlighting that it is alarming that our legacy civil rights organizations that won numerous battles in the past don't seem to be mounting any resistance to this stuff. The "supplier diversity" stuff helped create the little Black middle class that we have in this country and now that is starting to evaporate.
the middle class as a whole is evaporating..... You think the others are gonna let us grow or mintain while they continue to fall? This is not a race issue. It's economics but yall rather fight against people in the same struggle because they got different skintones.

Aht aht! WE made that exact argument multiple times throughout the history of this nation, but other groups —including poor whites— didn’t acknowledge that we were in the same struggle because they CONTINUE to believe their skin tone is better than ours.

So no, our organizations were necessary because they helped create, maintain and protect the Black middle class that many others didn’t want to see.

The Middle class as a WHOLE is DYING and will soon be dead. If you think that the NAACP can save the black middle class while the rest of the middle class burns, it ain't happening.

You're right that the middle class as a whole has been shrinking, but framing it like race isn't a factor in who gets hit first and who gets hit the hardest as a result of its collapse is where you're misguided. We have always been more vulnerable to economic downturns *because* of policies and practices that have specifically disadvantaged us. We've faced systemic barriers, for generations, that others haven't. From things like redlining, housing and lending discrimination, unequal access to quality education, and more. So, when the broader middle class takes a hit, it doesn't hurt the same. It's why you can't separate race from the class fight.

As far as the NAACP, they aren't trying to save the Black middle class *at the expense* of everyone else. They're just fighting for equitable policies that would have the side effect of helping everyone else, too. Affordable housing, better wages, access to healthcare, and so on, would benefit everyone. But the reality is, if you don't address the racial disparities that already exist, those policies won't work equally. And we'll end up back where we started.

As far as the struggle, it is not exactly the same. Sure, we're all getting crushed, but pretending that a white middle-class family and a Black middle-class family are starting from the same place or is impacted in the same way is naive.

It should be encouraging Black independence in business so there's no need for a DEI as a solution..Black folks too creative to be in a rut.

This is the babble of a tether.
