I find that Batlestar Galactica (season one) is highly slept on by black folks. They just never watched it, thinking its gonna be like Star Trek. Missing out. Its not Star Trek. There is some high stakes shyt going on. Main characters die. Don't know who to trust... edge of your seat survival shyt in space.

The Wire Season 4 and The Shield Season 4 are perfect seasons of TV.

Thinking back on it I have to give the edge to The Shield Season 4 because I don't recall having any complaints about anything that I was shown that season. With The Wire I was pretty much routinely annoyed by the McNulty stuff every season.
But The Shield Season 4 was damn near perfect.
Glenn Close as the new caption of the precinct and watching how she basically gets her entire sense of justice and trust in the system crushed by Vic and his bullshyt.
Vic and the Strike Team re-uniting after being broken up at the end of the previous season.
Vic being suspicious of Shane and where his loyalties lie.
Anthony Anderson giving a surprisingly awesome performance as drug kingpin Antwon Mitchell.
Aceveda being even more slimy as a City Councilman than he was as captain.
Aceveda getting blackmailed by that gang member who raped him.
Claudette going head to head with the crooked DA and her relationship with Dutch becoming fractured.
