Wire seasons 2 and 4 are basically perfect. They also both work as stand alone stories.

For me it's GoT season 4. I've watched every episode at least 5 times.

I think I'm one of the few that preferred season 1 of Fargo. Both were great imo, but season 1 was just way funnier to me. The dark comedy was top notch. Season 2 had better characters overall though.

I guess I'll throw out that I think Freaks and Geeks had an amazing 1st season. Since it's in my top 20 shows all time (and is retrospectively featured on best show lists nowadays) with only 1 season then I guess it should have an arguement as one of the best. It helped to launch so many careers and has a fresh timeless feel despite it being nearly 20 years old. Soundtrack is dope too.
