I can't believe some people consider this show better than GOT. The dialogue is average with the exception of a few scenes, the constant coughing throughout the first two seasons gave me migraines, Skylar and Marie are two of the biggest bytches in television history, it's been awhile since I've seen worse acting than the actors that played Skinny P/Badger/Combo/Andrea/Jane/Gretchen, Walt Jr. changing his name to Flynn was retarded, the scene when Skyler walked into the pool was , did I mention Marie is a noisy little bytch? The only thing I liked about the show was Walt's evolution into a madman, "Crawl Space", the actors that played Mike and Saul, Lydia's legs, and the phone call in the 2nd to last episode when Walt puts his naggy wife in her place.

I'm not shytting on it but I made it through Season 1 and have barely been back for Season 2, I guess it will take some time for me to get into it. 1st Season was Interesting and all but I'm just not motivated to watch it like the rest of the world. No Hate.:yeshrug: Does it pick up in Season 2?

It picks up after season 2 so I'd finished it. I thought it was a good show just not all-time great, definitely not the GOAT. I found too many plot holes, bad acting from the role players, too many annoying ass characters, too much overdramatic yelling to make up for subpar dialogue.

I can't believe some people consider this show better than GOT.

This is the absolute worst argument you could've made because most of the people involved with "GoT" are "Breaking Bad" stans.

This is the final season of BREAKING BAD. I think GAME OF THRONES may have a shot at upsetting BB for this year's Emmy (only a shot, though, I think they are the clear favorite), which pits us against their previous season....but there's no way in hell that anyone is going to defeat BREAKING BAD next year, when their last season is the one in contention.

Keep in mind this was season 5 of "BB" vs this last season of "GoT". The author of the books don't even agree with you. Nor do the show runners:

What Vince Gilligan and his team have created with that show is nothing short of American art. I don't have enough superlatives to throw his way.

It's been a long time since I stayed up all night finishing a novel, and that's depressing. That said, I would put Season 4 of The Wire or any of the seasons of Breaking Bad against 99 percent of contemporary fiction, and pick Simon and Gilligan as the victors in terms of complexity of storytelling, depth of characters, and memorable dialogue.

Actors too:

Looking back at movie and TV history, what are the roles you wish you'd played?

Lena Headey: Umm, I'd like to play Walter White, but I guess that's been done. We don't need to do that for a good few decades.

etc. etc. etc.

"BB" is your favorite show's favorite show. You ain't gotta agree. :manny:

So you think BB >>> GOT? It's not even better than TD imo.

I know they are two different types of shows but True Detective had better acting, impeccable writing, great dialogue, a clean storyline with no real holes, meaningful easter eggs, better cinematography and I felt RC's destruction a lot more than WW's....although Cranston did a very good job as well.

For GOT we always say how the show feels like it's only 20 minutes long, it's b/c it's entertaining as fukk. Only a couple of BB episodes kept my attention like that.

I'm not here to convince you breh, or attack you for your opinion. But yeah...."BB" is light years ahead of "GoT" in virtually every category.

Let's put it like this. G.R.R. Martin would rather binge watch "BB", than write for the books the "GoT" TV series is based on.

"TD" is one season deep....shyt is 8 episodes! You're seriously trying to tell me out of the 62 episodes of "BB", there ain't at least 8 superior? C'mon son. This is the definition of being caught up in the moment.

Fred.
