What is the better show....The Boys or Lovecraft Country?

I'd disagree with that. The way The Boys deals with rape, religion, racism, white nationalism, militarism, terrorism, drug abuse, corporations, and flat-out shytty parenting.. without hitting you over the head with it, was no easy task. Easily could've been tired and forced.

I find it all well constructed tho and more enjoyable than Watchmen, which i felt was alright but a bit try hard with the exposition. A bit vanilla. And yea, i read the graphic novel long before ever watchin the movie.

The Boys is probably better for being a greater adaptation of the source material while keeping a lot of key elements and not throwing crucial shyt away for no reason (see walking dead)

Lovecraft is greater for the culture because no matter what you find as a fault it's refreshing for black television and doesn't fall into the usual tropes black shows do.

I think Lovecraft Country has greater highs but it's wildly inconsistent and the narrative is all over the place while the Boys is consistently solid with a much more cohesive plot. Plus the Boys is a much smarter show than people give it credit for. They nailed the methods the Alt Right uses to appeal to impressionable anti-corporate "edge lords" with st0rmfr0nt's character
