The big WCW names actually coming over instead of holding out heading into the Invasion. Imagine Hall, Nash, Hogan, Steiner, and Goldberg coming over in 2001 instead of 1-2 years after.

Benoit not killing himself and his family. The product probably doesn’t become as sanitized as it does in the next few years, but you also don’t get the heightened CTE awareness measures and such and general safety of the wrestlers in that aspect.

Austin's neck

If it worse or couldnt wrestle and had to retire changes everything.
It might even force Vince to keep Bret?
Or what if he didnt injure it at all, does he have more matches and less backstage/skits in rings and does that change what makes the attitude era appealable, does it change the the vince vs austin storyline?

What If WCW went with the original plan with Sting being the 3rd man.

nWo would not have gotten as big
Another What If that I thought about listening to the Jim Ross pod. What if Triple H came over as the third man or even fourth. I didn’t know that Triple H
‘s contract was up around the same time but he was hellbent on making it work in the WWF.

If Triple H went for the money and lighter schedule there would be no DX which means Bret Hart may never turn heel and the content maybe doesn’t change to the Attitude Era as quickly.

If Ric Flair had embraced Lex Luger as an arrogant country club highschool bully a$$hole member of the horsemen, and then ACTUALLY put luger over at EITHER bash 88 or starrcade, luger would’ve been taken more seriously as a top babyface, and they could’ve pushed him.

ric flair derailed Lex Luger’s whole career there. Luger as the top babyface in jcp as it transitioned to wcw, and him side by side sting vs vader and the horsemen and doom, etc, thats a good look. Luger probably never would’ve gone to wwf.

So much shyt would be different if Ultimate Warrior would have stayed on Vince good side

He would have most likely been the most dominant wrestler of the entire decade (90s)

Those of y’all not old enough don’t realize how over he was. He legit made Hoegan an afterthought. Hoegan tried to say they needed him to save the day by winning the title at Mania 7 when that was the most :unimpressed: Mania ME of the entire 90s meanwhile Warrior match with Savage that same night was a much bigger deal and still till this day one of the most memorable WM matches of all time.

Warrior woulda been bigger in the 90s than Hoegan was in the 80s had he stayed on WWF good side.
