Absolutely nothing, they get a further far right racist judiciary that will further dismantle their rights and liberties getting them nearer to second class citizen status. Why should racist trump supporters get to set policy in the country and decide which books black children should be allowed to read in the classrooms the idea itself is asinine
:whew: louder for these idiots please.

Where's the smoke for Asians and Latinos? African Americans the most disenfranchised but vote the 2nd most? That's good.
If you are expecting 100% participation you're being naive.

This is a black forum (atleast it's branded as such) and the OP is rightly focused on us.

If you go on sites like citydata, you might also find cacs giving other cacs tough love when they take a break from being racist ofcourse

I asked for tangibles. I still don't see any :ld:
"The Civil Liberties Act of 1988 gave surviving Japanese Americans reparations and a formal apology by President Reagan for their incarceration during World War II. But its passage did not happen overnight."

Is it? I thought this was an off shoot of a Hip Hop forum (Support Online Hip Hop, SOHH). I know everyone pretends to be Black on here but trust there are others they just keep it to themselves.

Even when we are the most engaged non-white group in the political system and the most altruistic of all groups, someone will find a reason to admonish our people.

Does your hatred of us, perhaps yourself if you are one of us, compel you to do this? Instead of encouraging higher participation by holding up how well we stack against other groups, you focus on the relative minority that is not participating in an attempt to shame and finger-wag.
Where did he diss any one? Or show hatred? The hell you get that from? :dahell:

Obviously, this question is being asked in bad faith. It's not about "not voting" necessarily, many of us are voting 3rd party. It's about not blindly voting for the Democratic candidate in front of us.

The answer, is Democrats go back to the drawing board to see where they messed up in terms of black support like 2016 and what's happening right now, specifically reaching out to black men. This lends itself to topics like reparations, police reform, more funding for HBCUs, etc.

And it doesn't matter what the GOP isn't offering, we know they are of no help. The point is, if Democrats are "the good guys" these topics should be on the table for negotiations.

It doesn't matter if you or I think any of this is unrealistic, it's more than what's being expected from down-ballot supporters. Has Roland Martin even gotten a thank you phone call from Kamala Harris for fundraising 2 Million dollars for her campaign?

Politricks isn’t a game that’s just about voting, you need to put your money where you want results. Democracy is an experiment, but the players are humans/entities. Buy the politicians that advance your agenda.

The article fails to mention in many states people lose their right to vote if they have a felony on their record. Fortunately the article did say many states passed laws making it harder to vote. After the end of the day, voting especially for a presidential elections should be a federal holiday "if" they really want an increase in voter turnout.
