What has been your favorite game(s) of this generation so far?

Since we're nearing an end of this gen, I think it's appropriate to have this topic. List your favorite (notable) games and also whether or not you could see yourself playing those games next-gen.

I'mma have to go with Uncharted 2 being number 1. Easily favorite new IP this gen. The visuals, the presentation, the voice-acting. Just top-notch. It set the bar so high that even the 3rd one, as good as it was, couldn't do any better.

Then Skyrim. I don't think I ever got caught up playing so much and forget the time like I did when playing this. So much to do. Also has the most hours I've put into a game this gen.

Other notable games for me:

MGS4 - fukk the hate. Loved this game. Even if Kojima nearly ruined it with some bullshyt.

Bad Company 2 - Got me back into FPS. Still my FPS of this gen.

Tekken 6 - I've bout retired. Done beat everyone's ass online. But it's about the only fighting game I didn't trade in so

And I suppose Infamous, as it's the only game I've ran thru completely 2wice this gen.

I think a lot of ill shyt dropped this gen...nearly too much to playthru, as my backlog is ridiculously. Also though, while a lot of games did have a lot going for them, there weren't too many that outright accomplished excellence to the levels that they could have. I'd say the 1st three games on my list comes the closest in one manner or a few others, even if they still missed an opportunity here or there.

I might have to pop Tekken 6 back in to battle with you again. Haven't played my fighters in a minute now seeing as most folks don't be online playing em as heavily lately and my own life getting in teh way as well.

All of Mass Effect.
Uncharted 2.
All the Assassin's Creed sequels.
Batman of course.
Valkyria Chronicles.

And I don't know if it counts as "this generation" but League of Legends is the shyt.
