As a youngin I didn't go to the movies that often, I can count on my fingers the amount of times I went to the movie as a kid.
Last year Dungeons and Dragons dropped, and I was going to be out by the theater during the earliest showing, so I decided to drop in and see it since I heard the movies aren't usually busy at this time. ( I don't live in a largely populated area, about 100k in the city/county)
I think at the max there was only about 8 people in the showing. I didn't know it was going to be like that, had a whole row/area to myself I even paid for the overpriced movie food cause I hear that's how they stay in business
After that I went on to see Evil Dead Rise, Rise of the Beast, and Dune 2. Always at the earliest showing on Saturday. All three were similarly not packed.
