HOWEVER, the diaspora CAN develop business ties with certain African countries/expand their business in Africa without having to move their in large number. Which would be vital in cutting honks out. Word to the black economic strategist @Poitier

My next post explains that economics should be the central focus more so than mass relocation.

Tanzania will always be a favorite on mines. But like I said with Tanzania we have to be very patient. Because I understand we can never predict the future of certain African countries. Not only that not unlike Nigeria, Tanzania has zero excuses for why it can't reach its goals due to the area/region it is in which is quite stable and sense of true nationality in the country.

But I do believe Tanzania could be the return of Kilwa. While Tanzania is among the poorest countries in Africa things are changing fast. No one expected a very poor country like Ethiopia to now have the largest economy in East Africa overtaking Kenya. With Tanzania they are EXTREMELY focused on industrializing by 2025. I really took them seriously when they not only rejected the European EPA but also are trying to industrialize many of their sectors.

Magufuli while he has some "dictator-like" traits is probably the most competent African leader today. He is also very focused on industrializing and many people have praised his strategies. Tanzania and Ethiopia are far for perfect but like most African nations their leaders/government actually have goals. But like I said before I would prefer Tanzania over Ethiopia to be a black superstate. Tanzania can even maybe lead the EA region[including DRC] better than Ethiopia or Kenya can.

I could have SWORN I was on the Coli and NOT Nairaland...:laff::laff::laff::laff:

My next post explains that economics should be the central focus more so than mass relocation.

Read my post again my intellectual Mande cousin... I'm not talking about relocation but economics. AAs and other diasporans do NOT have to LIVE in Africa. But they may have to visit to start the connections/networks. I said before that doing business in Africa can be an alternative income for AAs and by that they can cut out Uncle Sam and possibly gain true economic liberation.

But either... There have been AAs who moved to South Africa and made it big. Of course we all seen this doc.

So @Dip comments out the Diaspora moving to South Africa is not taboo especially considering SA is a popular destination for AAs when it comes to Africa.

supowerowers need nukes

Can't discuss nukes unless you are part of a nation, and can't become part of a nation unless you are a citizen. Also Coli isn't the place to discuss military strategy imo. Like I said people need to focus on economic growth first and foremost, only the people in said nations can truly make something happen militarily. Most one can hope for is working with nations who do what needs to be done, but a non citizen of that nation def won't be the one to make that nation act.

How old is he?

My worry with a lot of forward thinking leaders are that their successor will be incompetent

The first key is to create economic agreements which is why AA should be involved in all economic facets and attend the usual council meetings. This will enable you guys secure contacts which may assist you to get votes.
If you're more mobilized you can then try to change the system.
Don't leave the US when u can take advantage of the systems there.

What we should be doing in the motherland is securing contracts that we can give strictly to Africa American owned companies. This will enable u to own earn and keep your money offshore and buy properties as well. Then the control of all logistics will begin between us and you. Before you know it the black owned banks will focus on lending more in conjunction with the import export bank and then most of you will be in the business.

Then we can continue to secure our resources from the old colonial masters and rather than renew contracts with shell or total it can be with an African or AA company.
We'll do the same for mining etc.

People in America need to focus on creating businesses that bring value to the world point black. We are talking about something that will never happen if we can't even create sustainable communities in America. We need to bring value to other nations, and not just look at some "we gotta do business because we are black". Nah, makes more sense to do business with a non black if they are actually bringing value and competitive advantage. At the end of the day we all need to focus on building in our own backyards first, and once we have done that then we will now be able to do business with other blacks globally at a scale that actually is impactful.

I'm quite positive it'll happen. AA have seen the worst of the worst and come out on the other side...bruised but not broken.

More information one community at a time will help out..already black women are gaining in education, less oow children etc. Sooner or later the diseases and health care issue will improve and then education.

We will see. At the end of the day America is not a black nation so either way it will still be a group of individuals looking to do business globablly compared to an actual nation investing in other nations. Because of this I feel in America we need to focus on building first so as African nations develop we will have something to actually offer them that benefits us both opposed to us simply looking for places to seek refuge.

Biafra will not see the light of day and I say that because not all Igbo are united in the cause. The chief instigator, Nnamdi Kanu is a fraud. His recent comments shows us the FACT remains that Biafra cannot function without Oil and/or fertile farmland. Since he began his quest for "independence" he has forcefully tried to co-opt the Southern and Middle-Belt geopolitical zones into Bia-fraud. This is because Oil is king and southern Nigeria has it all and Biafra doesn't. The middle-belt has an abundance of farm land. The 5 Igbo states that primarily comprise Biafra are a landlocked region plagued with erosion and desperately needs direct access to the seaports Southern Nigeria has to offer in order to effectively utilize the skills Igbos are known for, trading. Nnamdi Kanu just told us that the Nigerian government offered to give him Biafra with the 5 Igbo states ONLY. He refused, and according to him there can be no Biafra without Benue and Rivers States :russ:. For those that don't know Nigeria, Rivers State is the oil and gas capital of Nigeria. Benue state has some of the most fertile farmland in Nigeria and the local populations of both states have repeatedly rejected the idea of biafra.

In fact all across Southern Nigeria all the ethnic social groups have denounced Biafra and do not support being forcefully included in the Igbos quest for self determination. Plus notable Persons of the igbo extract that happened to be alive during the first civil war have already condemned calls for Biafra after witnessing the death of millions of their Igbo brothers and sisters for a fruitless cause. These youngins like Kanu ain't ready for the kind of Civil war that will engulf Nigeria and all of West Africa that this agitation can bring.

It has already been stated that the Biafra agitation along with Boko Haram are just more of the same destabilization tricks used by the West to prevent Nigeria from reaching it's potential. Amnesty international has already been caught funding the effort so that in itself removes any legitimacy from the cause. The average Igbo businessman is plying his trade in Northern Nigeria, Lagos and Port Harcourt, Biafra will be bad for business, hence the lack of widespread support. I currently live in Southern Nigeria and have plenty of receipts to back everything I'm saying :martin:
