That is the dumbest thing I've heard. We leave Nigeria. Our resources go to the Brifra government. Not to any other govt. Those contracts in this region are removed from everyone who isn't Igbo and given to The govt. A new law needs to be had. You can't eat the money. No one commodity contracts anymore. Very barbaric and backwards.
Igbos gonna mess around and get massacred again. You don't have the military capacity to wage war. The only way they gain independence is if Nigeria becomes a black superpower and tptb decide its best if they fracture it. So long as Nigeria remains weak, Nigeria as a whole will you exist.

That makes no sense. Nigeria is more likely to fracture if it grows weaker (which it will) like Yugoslavia or the Soviet Union.

Seeing these comments by other Nigerians its a no wonder why Igbos hate Nigeria and dislike the other ethnic groups and wanna split.

- It's unclear to me why Yorubas (who have generally said that they want us to leave) are so petty about it. If they truly want us to leave, then they'd say, "Bon Voyage!". Rather, they are behaving like a jilted girlfriend and are trying to insult us as we prepare a way for our children and their children. It is pathetic.
- There's only one Hausa on Facebook and he's said nothing despite promising to do so in the near future in this thread. I don't think he can defend the Northern oligarchy which has reduced Nigeria from being a potential super-power to being a failed state in 35 or so years.
Nigeria is a prison of nations. If non-Igbos like the Ijaw or Edo wish to join Biafra - let them vote on it. If Yoruba, Kanuri or Nupe want to vote on leaving the Northern oligarchy, let them vote on it. Just like how we want to vote on our continued "union" with Nigeria. There's no such thing as unity by force.

For America, in the 70s, 80s and 90s yeah. America put a cap on it now for Igbos. For Europe, not really. For Asia, yes. A lot of them are Igbos. Igbo want to make money, if there is no money, they won't stay. They aren't Yorubas who will stay in the slums just to say they are out of Nigeria. Nigeria is a good country to those with funds but for Igbo, even the rich ones, that is getting harder to find. Nigeria business dealings is making it a horrible country.
Dankote got a contract in Nigeria for all Clement and tomatoes meaning you can go to jail for selling tomatoes. On top of that, tomatoes is 15 dollars per pound now. My fam haven't had stew in months. Nigeria is a hell hole. Everyone old and young in Igboland wants out of Nigeria

Dangote's monopolies are worsening the situation for Nigerian consumers. Buhari and co. have given away Nigeria's "industrial policy" to Dangote and his cronies.
