With the popularity of spread offenses, its harder to evaluate tackles in college- tackles coming out of the spread dont learn proper pass blocking that suits the NFL game.
That's truepff keeps track of those, but a lot of times theyre subjective because you dont know assignments and can only guess (which is true for a lot of pffs grades/assessments, because we never know actual plays being called)
You forgot Fred Taylor bruh.
them nikkaz was pure trash they last couple years alsoI just found out Dbrickashaw Ferguson and Nick Mangold retired
Linemen are not getting the same type of coaching with all the spread offenses in college. So they have to learn at the NFL level
and to make matters worse the CBA doesnt allow coaches to work with players in the offseason
This makes the most sense.Read somewhere that the CBA makes it so young players are significantly cheaper than veterans so a lot of older players are not getting signed and are out of the league earlier. The whole league is younger than it used to be. That hurts the O-Line more than any other position becuz the speed benefit of younger players cannot make up for the lack of experience at that position...
Martin and Fredrick are both hof type offensive lineman, and they both still really aren't even in their prime with a young zeek. There's still good offensive lineman, but I don't see any Hall Of Fame level guys right now.
I'm talking guys who've come into the league over the last 6-7 years.
I remember watching guys like Orlando Pace & Tony Boselli.
Their dominance/technical skill just jumped out the screen at you.
They just don't have it in full alignment like that anymore
Look fine without him so far. :harbaughumad:Taylor Decker just lead the Lions to playoffs word to @Regular_P
