he was just too soft for the industry.
and no matter how much people argue about his "success" with MMG, the disconnect between their image and content and the lane he was trying to occupy didn't help him establish himself and his fanbase. he lucked up in joining MMG when they were popular so he got a surge off GP, but he didn't build or solidify his own base.
his delivery sucks as well tho, makes him unlistenable. he's got good content and dope flows, but i hate listening to him.

Asher fell off, Charles got in his own way due to his mental health, B.O.B sold out and then people stopped buying what he was selling and Wale though he had success is now hated by many people and thought to be corny lol. That shyt is crazy.I don’t understand why people clown Wale. Everybody can’t be Drake and stay hot for a decade plus. He had decent run, but his time is done being a major player, it happens to everybody. But with that said he still has had a better career than most of his peers. A lot of people’s careers would have been over after that song with Gaga flopped.
