Wale was supposed to be on the same level as the Kendricks and Coles
At one point he was right there with them but his personality really turned people off
The music has always been there but nowadays thats the least important part
I don’t understand why people clown Wale. Everybody can’t be Drake and stay hot for a decade plus. He had decent run, but his time is done being a major player, it happens to everybody. But with that said he still has had a better career than most of his peers. A lot of people’s careers would have been over after that song with Gaga flopped.

Rappers who actually rap are going to have the hardest time attracting the masses. Wale gets he credit where it matters.

Wale gave up trying to appeal to the current trends and focused on his core fans.
We have to stop basing other people’a on our on perception.
Yeah, Cole and Kendrick have both did a great job of keeping their mystique. You don’t see them arguing with fans on Twitter or threatening slap to women because they left negative comments. Ross should have had social media training at MMG, because Wale and Meek have both been hurt by their Twitter fingers.
