What Genre of Movie Do you Refuse to Watch?

Straight up romance flicks like the notebook, Tyler Perry movies, 99.5% of musicals and 99% of westerns.

Musicals

My favorite was The Nightmare Before Christmas but that was because I love animated movies. I was fine with Corpse Bride too but was meh on Frozen.

I like the Wizard of Oz and Willy Wonka too and probably other random ones I've forgotten about.

But people randomly breaking out into song just makes me irrationally angry when it's not cartoon characters. It's less annoying in some movies than others.

IMHO, musicals are only something worth checking out in an actual theatre rather than on a movie screen. In person, entirely different experience.

Period pieces are hard for me to get into. I actually prefer the TV shows to the features. Only like "Guys And Dolls" so musicals are a must-pass.

I love rom-coms and comedies in general, but the recent ones have been straight trash. Damn shame. These used to be great watches on a lazy Friday night.
