I'm sure this thread has been done before, but what movie provided your goat theater experience?
For me it has to be The Dark Knight
The anticipation, the hype, that opening scene. Never has a movie been as talked-up as TDK and then exceed expectations. Knowing Ledger was dead and then watching Joker regulate for 2.5 hours.. Man, shyt was just electric. Everyone in the theater was in awe when it was over
Jurassic Park and Avatar are right there though. Spielberg and Cameron movies feel like roller coasters

No one else in my city saw it before midnight. Plus they had a raffle where you could've won shyt from a new flat screen TV to a graphics card . They also fed us pizza , soda and ice cream (took two large Domino's boxes home cause they had too much ) and of course, it was a private showing .
