Trying to make up for lost time. :manny:

I was a bum coming out of HS. Too focused on athletics. Had an epiphany after breaking my leg freshman year: athletics ain't puttin food on the table, b. From 19-22yo I worked part time jobs and sparingly went part time to CC to "find myself." Maths, sciences, computers were always subjects I was most interested in. Found out about my CC's PTA program at 22yo. Two year program, come out makin good money, per diem jobs everywhere, patient care hours for furthering education opportunities. I hopped in.

Just grad and now I'm trynna figure out where I wanna go from here. :manny:

Breh, I'm very interested in applying to a few PTA programs around my area (Chicago). The job prospects, pay, and patient care opportunities seem great for a young person. Plus, I love science and would like an opportunity to apply my knowledge practically. This might also sound like a bs cliche, but I really do want to help people as well.

Would you say the experience has been worthwhile? The post was over a year ago, are you still in the field? I don't want to commit to a DPT program because I may end up disliking the field down the line and want an exit strategy without huge debt tying me down. Not saying this will happen, but it's always best to dip your feet in the water before going for a swim.

Had a setback due to shoulder surgery last Oct, but ya I'm still in the field. Hell yea its been worthwhile. shyt changed my whole perspective on health, fitness, and preventative care. :blessed: Everything you just said is a big reason I went PTA over DPT initially too.

You can always get a PT Aide job if you want to get your feet wet early and scope the scene without dropping tuition fees. Or just call up different places asking for observation opportunities.

Exercise and healthy eating :blessed:

I actually plan on applying for a few rehab aide positions at physical therapy centers around Chicago. I need the observation hours to apply for admission into the programs I'm looking at.

Eventually I want to do per-diem, travel work. I'm young with no real obligations keeping me from travelling. Free housing and travel allowances :win:

Job opportunities/flexibility are nuts. Travel, home care, contracting, per diems, 3 day 12 hr shifts, off setting hours, in all sorts of settings. Upgrade to DPT and the list grows even more :banderas: Like a damn nurse, just we don't have overnight shifts :pachaha:

This is definitely attractive for me. Taking your job virtually anywhere in the States is a godsend, especially since I want to continue my education after that. I think it would be cool to get into the neuroscientific aspect of physical therapy, either researching or designing bionic technology solutions for patients. Direct patient care in any sort of capacity is attractive, because it's problem solving with both your hands and your brain.

Started off double majoring in History and Education. Became too stressful, I been working full time since my junior year in High School. My grandfather before he died, wanted me to pursue a career in law enforcement. I have an Associate's in CJ, went through some bullshyt with Seton Hall now it's going to take me another year to get my Bachelor's. Struggle is real out here, I can go on and on about my problems, but hopefully things work out after I get my BA. Been marketing myself, i'll probably have to go out of state. In NJ everybody and their moms are trying to be cops. Seeing these fukk boy cops making over $100,000 grand :noah::banderas:. Might have to enlist in the Army, if I can't find employment soon. I really rather have a career as a Network Engineer, but i'm too bytchmade to start all over. Student loans etc. Fml:flabbynsick:

since you're handsome as fukk maybe you should offer your culo to a jewish gay cracka cause that's the only way you'll go anywhere in the entertainment/tv business.

My skill set personally, i wanted to be an astronaut as a kid but i suck at math and ii'm more interested in science theory rather than application.

But I was always a good writer, and an even better speaker. Never had fears of asking questions or being the first to voice an opinion or answer things in class. My high school was also very english and writing intensive so it only bolstered my skills.

So journalism feels very natural, also i love studying groups of people and how they interact so sociology also feels natural (Durkheim is a personally fav of mine).

So Journalism/Soc, I see kids struggling through finals week and i'm like :manny:. I'm maintaining a 3.0 with 3 classes left and not one class i can say has been "difficult" 1 or 2 time consuming papers...but nothing difficult.
wont get anywhere if you want to report what's really going on. you must only willing to promote jewish illuminati propaganda.

My major is accounting. After spending a lot of time in and out of school and trying to figure out what I wanted to do I figured why not stick with what I'm good at i.e. Math. It was down to Finance, Accounting and Math for me and I figured I could do the most with an Accounting degree plus my school is a target school for accounting and CPAs make bread on top of that.

We have an undergrad CPA program which it seems not a lot of schools have. But I'm in the dual-degree program since my GPA is high enough. I figure I'm 24 and why waste any more time when I can have my MBA by 26. :yeshrug:

One more obstacle to go before starting the grad portion of my program.... Taking the GMAT in 4 weeks. Wish me luck. Got a 620 on the GMATprep practice test so I should be good.
good luck. just like entertainment you'll be holding a position only until a jewish guy replaces you. why would jewish ppl have anyone hold a position when they can have their own...
