I have read of 3 theories:

1. When you experience deja vu, you are EXACTLY where you are supposed to be at the single moment in time.

2. It could be that you've literally made the trip before as in walking down the same road 100 times, you are bound to come across the same events (E.g. Big white lorry followed by small red car) at least twice.

3. Your brain has short circuited for a spilt millisecond and cannot find a place to put the situation you've just encountered so kind of reboots itself and leaves you on the log-in page to ponder lol.

The pseudo in me wants to say that time stops or freezes and that moment is replayed for whatever purposes. Could be a error correction mechanism by the universe.

My theory on it is that, since light travels at 300,000,000 m/s maybe our lives have really flashed before our eyes so the present isn't the present and when we have deja by its because in actuality we've already lived through that scene in our life and that's why we find it so familiar.

A couple things come to mind.

(a.) Deja Vu could give substance to the idea that you reincarnate and live your life over and over until you learn all the lessons you're suppose to learn on this earth.
(b.) Could be the Universe[God] giving you hints that your life is on it's pre-destined course which could either be good or bad.
(c.) Maybe enough parallel universes align in action to the point they synch all of the "you's" and what you are experiencing is a brief moment of omniscience.
  • Reason why I say this is because usually Deja Vu is felt by one individual within a group. I've never experienced simultaneous Deja Vu, so when it occurs it must be influenced by significantly unique catalysts for each individual.

My experiences have usually been where I am seeing and experiencing things 2-3 seconds before they're actually happening. Once I realize it's happening, it stops.

I have no theories as to what it is. But I just experienced it today. It was from a dream I had 3 years ago. A preacher was preaching at a funeral. And today when I went to a funeral, I said a couple sentences in my mind he said while he was preaching. I knew exactly what he was going to say. There was another part of that dream I remembered. I got embarrassed at the funeral. But that didn't happen in real life.

So it’s literally a glitch in “god’s matrix” :ehh:

I think it’s a sign from God in some context :blessed:

or it could mean nothing...... but “deja vu” :yeshrug:
