This is true.... in the summer of 2011 shortly after the NFL lockout,me being a Giants fan.I boldly predicted to friends, and alot of people that the Giants would win the Super Bowl.I predicted the Super Bowl matchup of Giants vs Jets (Dont ask why I picked Jets).Well for a while Giants got off to a bad start. Then they went on a never before seen run and proceed to win Super Bowl. Was it me knowing the future?Deja Vu?Powerful words?etc....if you predict something in August and it comes true in Febuary..must be something :manny:

My theory is hyper activity in our brains ability to predict the future.

We predict thinks unconsciously all the time, and these assumptions make our life easy. Things like our next step being on solid ground, land marks being exactly around the corner we turn, peoples moods in advance of the actions we take... our brain does a lot of subconscious predicting to keep our full capacity thoughts undisturbed.

I think at some point, maybe in dream states, we predict extremely far into the future, and then they prediction gets buried and overlaps when the predicted event happens. This also means we have a lot of wasted memory for when these pedictions don't occur, but we dont realize it because it never happens for that second time.

... my other theory is that our soul or spirit, or what ever body our hyper reality selves inhabits travel to the future and get pulled back unconsciously keeping track of what happened.

:whoa: sorry breh you got to break this down.

I get the déjà vu feeling alot of times but none are crazier than the one I got yesterday. I was kicking it with my friends yesterday at this female house then It hit me that I had a dream EARLIER THIS WEEK and the people , the furniture , the layout, where everyone was sitting ,etc. was all exactly the same. I usually credit déjà vu to my extensive examining of details in my life and going over damn near all possibilities that can happen sometimes, but the house we were at belonged to a chick I met for the first time that day , so there was no way for me to be able to imagine the exact setting of her house :mindblown:

Yeah stuff like this happens everything is very exact what makes it so recognizable is the dialogue if I'm with another person.

Within the realm of my own theoretical analysis :win:

When someone says 2 plus 2, we don't do the math, its a recalled answer 4. Its because its already been figured out and committed to memory. I think this is the foundation of deja vu. We know the next step without the cognitive recollection of how we got to it.

Deja vu is when our minds have done that two plus two already. Like those dreams where you live the whole day and wake up when your alarm goes off, you make predictions of whats most likely to occur on that day, and experience them as if they were moments real enough to commit to memory.

So when memories over lap there's a neural or dopamine response, like an amplified version of when you instinctually know 2 plus 2 is 4, but you didn't have to figure it out the second time.

i had it once during sex, it was one of the weirdest and interesting experiences with the physical and mental process. After intercourse me and dude were going back and forth with ideas and rediscoveries of certain events and places..

:wtf: Did you have sex with the dude?
