The older generation of Black immigrants can be

at times due to either preconceived notions or negative experiences but, overall, the issue has gotten blown up online by hateful trolls on both sides.
Generally speaking, though, Black immigrants are pretty cool and only focused on eeking out a living and making enough money to support themselves. More than you think have Pan-African or pro-Black views as well.
A Haitian woman who's a friend of mines made me soup joumou for News Years, a Ghanaian man helped me get my first job in accounting, and I grew up befriending and dating many non-AA's(almost married one too), and I know a number that have moved to AADOS-heavy Southern places like Atlanta, Charlotte, and Houston and praised those places over NYC.
There's plenty of good relations between us that gets ignored or downplayed. It's just that, when certain ones voice their prejudiced views about us, it stings because you'd think they know better given their racial background.
