This is one of the very few times the wwf production quality really played a heavy part in getting someone over.
In the original ppv broadcast live.
The show ended with the rock abruptly and triumphantly holding the title over Mick with no wwf call sign and just an impromptu dead on fade to black. As you had no idea if Mick was still alive after that.
One of the most shocking ppv feed matches I ever watched ins real time ever. I literally was mad at Mick for agreeing to that shyt cause I thought he was legit fukked up from that shyt.

One of the few times a match as an adult got me overly concerned as a work.
Where even though I was smart then, it worked to make me mark out and have a real emotional caring reaction to where I was mad at Mick for making me go through that and agree to the angle/work.

Steel chair shots are real breh. One of the real things about wrasslin is the steel chair.
They maybe props here and there,...yet in this exact match rock was swang'n a real one.
