Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey are the epitome of black woman success and they speak proper english yet they do not talk white.
It's in the vocal/tocal inflection, cadence, and even verbiage a black female uses is when they get labeled as "speaking white" has nothing to do with "proper english"

I have white skin. I do NOT talk like a white person. Neither does my dad who also has white skin like me.
most white people jokes about their voice started with comedians in the 80's. Eddie Murphy was the goat at it.
i think that spread and here we are today critiquing the way a race speaks because it can sound funny and different to some who dont talk like that.
BUT, there are white girls who have a southern drawl and some of them sound "white" too while having a southern accent.
