We split everything equally except for cleaning. I have to clean my own house but outside of that we share the cooking, laundry, dishes, etc. I don't take out garbage or do any outside work, that's all him. I however deal with our daughter 100% of the time and he does nothing outside of financial things which is the only thing that's really causes a problem.

I'm not saying people should not split the work. I'm just saying what women did in the past. A lot of women now is i work and why should i cook. you find your own food.
