That's exactly what I do. Also I fight to raise awareness about the traps i their environment in hopes that people will notice and make a change.
Leaving wont make the problem vanish. But if your on here complaining about what they do in the hood, then the logical resolution is to move away.
What would staying in the hood do? You think a dude with a good job's presence will magically end the ratchetness? News flash, there ARE productive people in the hood, that shyt has no effect.
no, i don't believe "one" dude w/a good disposition can magically end rachetness. but an entire community of like minded individuals could make positive change overnight. instead, they flee to the burbs, marry a white girl and think they're helping out by donating a few bucks or mentoring some b*stard kid for an hour a week.
This is bullshyt. These people are in the hood. They are called gentrifiers. They are a bunch of like minded individuals who have an objectively positive impact on the neighborhood. And still, many of these neighborhoods are still ratchet
I never heard of this dude until reading this thread. Every time I see his name mentioned on here I thought you guys were talking about Justice Sonya Sotomayor's son/husband/brother or something

Tommy Sotomayor is GARBAGE.
He's a hot mess and no one should be listening to him. His criticism of black women consists of over-generalizations and downright mindless stereotyping. Is he right about some things? Of course, but it doesn't matter if he's right sometimes since he mixes the truth with hate and nonsense.
At first I was amazed that he was able to deliver the truth so eloquently and so frequently, but then I realized that a few things were askew:
1. He refuses to criticize white women, constantly praises them and even has a section on his website devoted to freaky-looking bodybuilder chicks

2. He will go after ANY black woman for ANY reason. He will actively try to make every story about black women. It's ridiculous, absurd, and it's almost as though he's caricaturing himself.
3. After he disrespected the beautiful QUEEN Gabrielle Union I could not respect or listen to him anymore. He was bobbing his head around like a possessed fakkit, as though Gabrielle Union was being ghetto in any way. I was already getting tired of the way he takes things too far, but this time I just wasn't willing to deal with his garbage anymore.
4. Did I mention that he tries to spin ANY AND EVERY topic to be about black women? It's so ridiculous that it has to be a salient point. He gets shook as fukk when REAL nikkaS and REAL QUEENS upstage him and he won't talk all of that shyt he talks when others are in front of him. He's a coward, a bytch, a provocateur and a shock-jock who has no cojones and feels safe behind the internet.
A truly demonic individual he is. Stay away from him. There are other people on youtube that relay the exact same message without coming across as sambo, jiggaboo c00ns who hate their own flesh. Check out Dark Hater/Haterazzi instead.
