Seriously, though, he wasn't being sarcastic- this is his normal pattern of behavior. Skippy is actually an omega-level troll. He enjoys acting tough, then pretending to be weak when pushed or called out only so he can set the stage for more trolling. This dude has over a decade of experience in the troll game.
