What do we make of the fact that our currency contains a ton of Masonic symbols?

To say all the lodges are independent may be a bit of a reach.

Like most corporations/organizations, there are some with power and some without in the Masons. It is hard to say exactly how nefarious they are because of all the secrecy and disinformation circulating, but all in all, the average Mason is probably no more demonic than the average non-Mason.

There are freemason icons and lodges throughout the town I live in, and throughout CT. I've met a few masons and have been invited to a lodge.

People often get confused because there is a lot of overlap within these secret societies. Most freemasons join because they are of like-mind to other members and just want to improve society (though their idea of improving society could be questioned), while "illuminatus" are generally born into it and have a lot more power on an individual level than the average free-mason.

At the end of the day its all about the $$$. People with $$$ have power, people in the Masons have networking with others that have $$$ and power. $$$ + Power + Networking = Productive Action.

With that said, as has been noted, to join the Masons, you must believe in a higher power, and sometimes that higher power is a bit, demonic. :leostare:

They do not specify which supreme being you have to worship. There are many rumors of Luciferian worship, or perhaps even Satanic worship..though it is believed to be more prevalent in the illuminati.

the rumor of lucifer worship comes from what is known as the taxil hoax

specifically from a fake albert pike quote completely made up by leo taxil

So, I rolled into a small town. Population of about 5,000.

The "Welcome to (town name)" sign had a Masonic sign next to it.

Wuddup with that?

From the few masons I've talked to they said the same thing. To join you must believe in a supreme being(the definition of a supreme being is up to you). Anyway their temples are no joke. This is the closet temple to my house.

^if you do make sure you get into "regular" masonry and not something clandestine. the best way to find out is to ask that brother. you'll know by the way he answers
If I became a Mason I'd want to jump into the clandestine side. I want to know all the secrets damnit:lolbron:

-and where's the poster High Society at? we need some info on The Boule- aka the black skull & bones
