They'll ask you css questions, php questions, ask you if you are familiar with their software of choice (don't be surprised if its Dreamweaver) and how you would implement certain things like a basic css wrapper.

But primarily they will want you to show them websites that you have built.
Same with graphic design. Your portfolio is the your interview.

I honestly can't even think of a single cert I would recommend for a web designer
