my bad @((ReFleX)) I never got the notification, what did you end up getting ?
it's cool, I think it's cause I edited the tag in after I made the post....But i ended up on the audio technica 1240

it came down to several factors. I was debating on the technica 120 and the stanton t.92. but reading around, many people said to fork the extra cash and get a higher end model. So I was lookin at the model Needlz suggested. the stanton str8-150. only because of the straight needle. then I figured I should go with a turntable that's going to provide the best sound as opposed to what's best for scratching. i'ma be using this shyt mainly for sampling purposes and maybe 10% scratching. so I figured the tone arm made no difference. and reading through many boards, many people picked the technica 1240 over the str8-150 as far as sound performance. and after setting it up, i'm happy with my choice. this shyt is a well built machine and has great sound. went crate digging for the first time on the weekend and came up on some gems.

the only problem i'm having is with my audio interface. I bought one because I wanted to get the best sound out of my vinyl recordings. problem is, my turntable came with RCA and usb cables and I don't see any way to connect that my audio interface(UR 22).....I don't know if I need some type of adapter or what. have no experience with AI's so I didn't know anything about the connections beforehand. only shyt I know is that there's no way to connect my turntable to the audio interface at this moment. I figured it would come with a cable that could connect to my interface, then I could just connect my interface to my computer. So at this moment I just have my turntable connected straight to my mac through usb. the sound is still really good but I would like to get the best sound possible. if you know anything about this, some info would be appreciated.

shout out to @Nomadum and @DJ Dope-Needlz for the help. yall opened up my eyes to a lot of shyt.

you don't need the STR-150. It's expensive as hell.

So you bought the Technica AT-LP1240?
That's actually an OEM-Turntable! So you got the best turntable on the market!
The Stanton is the exact same turntable as yours cause it's an OEM to.
Only difference is tone-arm.

Aren't there those red and white audio cables with it.
I would connect those to your audio interface.

these are the only inputs my interface has. the red and white RCA cables that came with my turntable won't fit into any of these

Not sure... but i think you might need a Phono Pre-Amp.
My Roland MV-8800 had a built in Phono Pre-Amp and that was actually better sounding straight from the Turntable than coming through my mixer.

I would recommend this:

Art DJPRE II

The Behringers are not as good i've read.
