:russ: No thanks. :hubie:Another thing is that the topics are somewhat repeated from other forums outside of the coli. Like LSA talks about similar content, but they just have a bigger audience so it's like why come to discuss it here too? We need more female posters to sign up.

Check the forum descr8ption
Instead of *ask the ladies anything" why not just list the target topics ??
The way it is now makes it seem like it's a place for guys to get women's feedback and perspective on their topics
When really it's your spot

And this might be controversial, but consider blocking all men from posting in the salon..
There can be mingling and chitchat in the random thought thread in TLR so nothing lost
(I kind of remember vbulletin 2 had a way to lock forums by age/gender categories)

Well this is a male dominate board so most women probably wouldn't be active posters even in the women's section

Secondly what is the point of posting when some male fonts like to police what is posted? I remember 1 thread basically having to be deleted because the men were just being disrespectful in the thread and they may have been pm'ing her with some bullshyt too. Yeh there is freedom of speech and all that but it gets old when you have people who refuse to use critical thinking skills and approach topics with an open mind.

I actually like this board but the attitudes on here are tiredsome which is why I lurk more than I post. And before someone jumps in with the" LSA does it too" I treat that site like I treat this one-I only go into the areas that interest me.
