Yes, transportation costs and the cost of private schools make the vouchers not the solution

For them. lol I know multiple people on the voucher, nieces/nephews included, who would have went to shytty schools without the voucher.

Yes the uniforms are expensive. So what? :francis:

Not the uniforms, the tuition is expensive and alot of low income people can't afford the transportation costs. Get out of your "I know a few people" bubble. :rudy:

What about the schools that don’t charge any extra tuition?

What you’re doing is looking for anything.

Does she seem low income to you?

She is the president of the Chicago Public School Union.. She said out of her mouth, she had to send her son to a private school due to the lack of options in public schools. :mjlol:

Man just go do some more googles or just wait for someone else to show up and quote me. You not serious.

What does this have to do with lower income people not being able to afford private school? :dahell:

There's a lot of classism and indirect racism with certain gun control laws and the "compromise" with gun rights is always one sided. You talk about mass school shooting and propose armed security and people get upset. Id be for mental health awareness too. Gun safety would be cool top and used to be taught in classes. It just makes me believe people are unserious about resolving it because the solutions are one sided.

What I mean about classism/racism is that some laws like purchasing a gun license which means spending time taking a course and using a large amount of money may not be accessible to the black person working two jobs but needs self protection. It doesn't hurt me because I have the time and resources to do so.

I also don't like that it can take 6 - 12 months in some states like California to get a carry license, but something like a 3 day waiting period I'm OK with.
Naw there should be a waiting time. Plenty of stories of someone purchasing a gun for the sole purpose of using it on a spouse/ex or someone out of jealousy.

Plenty of poor ass white folks that love guns in that same situation.

You're proving my point. A upper middle class woman sending her kids to private school is your example? What about lower income people?

I honestly don’t even know how to answer this question. You want me to believe, vouchers are bad, because some parents can’t afford uniforms and transportation, and some schools require extra tuition. :unimpressed:
