Yes.. Queens is different from Harlem, Brooklyn sounds different than the Bronx etc...people from different boroughs can have different dialects; different nationalities can have different accents.. it depends. and the fashion, way people dressed could be different. Harlem is known for flashy and having a more innovative style, Queens is preppier, Brooklyn was more grimier- army fatigues back in the day. In terms of slang,a mainstream example is that you won't hear too many people from Queens, saying "what up, b".. the term "wavy" originated in Harlem.
